Erika Alyana Duran
You can call me Erika!
I studied Digital Arts and Design for two years and then continued with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, majoring in Multimedia Arts for four years at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna.
I started my career in 2013 as a Junior Graphic Designer at Velocity Made Good International PH. In 2016, I was promoted to Team Leader and led a team of over 90 graphic designers for six years.
In August 2019, I joined Design Pickle, a global creative company based in Arizona, USA. I started as a Graphic Designer in a remote setup and was promoted to Junior Art Director and Integrity Keeper after eight months.
Alongside my full-time design work, I also teach part-time at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna. I handle subjects like Freehand Drawing, Color Theory, Typography and Layout, Brand Communication, and Design.
I also freelance for clients in different states of the USA, Nigeria, Iceland, Germany, Canada, and Australia.
My experiences as a Graphic Designer, Team Leader, and Junior Art Director have helped me become a strong team player and leader. Freelancing taught me how to work on my own and understand different cultures.
I enjoy working in design, and I’m always excited to keep learning and share what I know.
